Friends with Faces: Antje

This is Antje, another one of my dearest friends... (Yeah, we had a reunion, that's where this comes from .) What I really like about this picture is the balance (1 quarter is the hand, 1 quarter is her face and then two quarters background) as well as the way her face came out of it. I'm always pleased when I manage to capture the way I see one of my friends rather than how they really look, and this is one of those pictures, because she looks wise but also energetic, which is exactly what she is...
